Synopsis

What if the universe is trying to send us a message? Could we actually hear it? Do we even want to?

Three young Roman-era adventurers are impelled by a vision to take a perilous quest through the Arabian desert. They lose their guide and end up at a decadent desert oasis controlled by a vicious queen.

Will they be caught up in her murderous plans, or will they learn in time the true meaning of the message being sent to them?

MUSIC

The musical is scored for seven actors plus four-piece rock band. Here are early recordings with just voice and piano (the only ones I can put on legally!). To listen to five minutes of the amazingly fabulous production archival recording - full band and all - come back soon; Western Canada Theatre is kindly putting some up on their website, and we'll link here.

"Next - Broadway!" - audience member

"I've been attending theatre productions at Sagebrush Theatre since 1978 and this is my first note to a director after seeing a show. I just wanted to say what a superb performance we saw tonight. The inventive set, the splendid costumes, the fabulous music - what a show! Broadway in little ol' Kamloops, no less. How proud you must be! Thanks for a wonderful evening." - patron. back to top
